The New Testament is a Missionary Book. Every author was a FOREIGN MISSIONARY. Every book was to Mission Churches and Missionary Converts. These Missionaries were lead by the Great Missionary, JESUS CHRIST. Mark 16:15- And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. The men of our church get together to encourage one another, bear each others burdens and get to know each other better on the third Friday night of every month. We enjoy food and fellowship. Hebrews 3:13 – But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Galatians 6:1-2 – Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.v2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. The ladies get together on Thursday mornings and have coffee and a short devotions from the Bible. Titus 2:3-5 v3The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; v4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, v5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. The youth get together on the First Friday Night of every month, for a time of fun, fellowship and a challenge from the Word of God. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Psalms 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord : and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Psalms 132:12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore. Visitation is held on Thursday nights. We go door to door sharing the Gospel and inviting the community to our church. Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Mark 16:15-16 v15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.v16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Annually we have Family Camp and a Sportsman’s Camp that is open to the community. This is an outreach to give help and hope for the home with the Bible being the foundation and guide. Deuteronomy 6:4-9 v4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord :v5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.v6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: v7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. v8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.v9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates. 3 John v4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. |
